Workers of the Cantonal public company ZOI ’84 submitted a criminal complaint against the director Midhat Hubijar and other leaders of the company, for illegal operations and disrespect of their rights.

The criminal complaint was filed to the competent authorities, from which workers expect a real battle. As stated at today’s press conference, the problems of the company started with coming to the head of  Hubijar and other people like him.

“We wanted to present problems of Hubijar arrival at the head of our company in the public, which was illegal. He was a president of the Assembly, and the Supervisory Board appointed him as a managing director. At the same time he performed a function of director and president of the Assembly of the company, which is completely illegal. All the problems have started due to lack of implementation of rehabilitation plans and programs adopted by the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton 2013/2014. ZOI ’84 is in great trouble since 2012, and even then there was a loss in business,” said the employee Semir Sasic for Klix.ba.

He added that the biggest problem is too many employees, where at one moment the company had 317 employees.

“We came to the situation where is recorded a loss of 12 million marks. Sarajevo Canton Government approved a loan of eight million, however thepayment of salaries and hot meals were respected. More than 30 workers were sacked evading the law. We have a minimum wage of 360 KM, while the same for public enterprises is 483 KM,” said Sasic.

Director Hubijar, according to the workers, boasted that he had the most successful post-war winter season in which he earned more than three million.

“It comes to the pure absurdity, where the best season recorded a loss in excess of earnings, and in the last winter season, where there was hardly any snow, director presents the positive business. We’re talking about a criminal organization in which does not participate only one person, but everyone around him,” said the worker  Muhidin Hadzic.

Workers added that a big problem is the building across the National Theatre, which is mortgaged for the loan of eight million.
