SSSBIH held its 12 Congress on 19-20 February in Sarajevo. 147 delegates elected the new president for the next four years.Ismet Bajramović,president of Metal Worker’s Union got 91 votes and by this von the election from its opponent Salih Krušćica,president of Public Sector Worker’s Union.

In the preparation for Congress STBIH initiated and drafted The Platform that gathered all the union with members in service and private sector.These unions agreed about main principles and their joint stand for the Congress. This Platform will be basis for future constructive and more effective role of the unions that signed it in cretaing the union policies and building up the effective and efficient structure of SSSBIH,its reform and actions.
