STBIH activities in companies owned by Canton Sarajevo

STBIH has members in two service companies, ZOI 84 and Center Skenderija. Taking into account all agreements signed with Goverement of Canton Sarajevo must be good expamle of social dialogue and legal protection of the workers .However STBIH has been strugling almost all summer to secure the basic rights for its membership working in these companies. Several bilateral meetings were held as well as two general essemblies in both companies with only one aim – to protect the workers. The major problem is of course lack of soocial dialogue, low level of worker’s rights as well as no collective agreement signed.

The great support for STBIH has been offered by HK Region Ost who helped STBIH in organizing the activities but also local representative of SSSBIH as well as Ministry of trade in Goverement of KS took active part in this process.

STBIH will continue with its activities and will keep investing efforts in securing the decent work for its members in KJP companies in Sarajevo and else where.
