In spite all efforts to deminish informal economy in BIH, this part of commerce is still very important in general income as well as on the labor market. STBIH in number ocassions so far intervene in solving problems of the workers in this sector and again the right to work of open market’s workers is again in danger.

STBIH launched several activities in order to protect the working places of this population group that cannot work anywhere else. Fiscal reform in Federation of BIH can not be implemented in markets and will cause new problems and new challenges for this workers. STBIH therefore launched initiative to exclude open market vendors for this law. Ministry of finance of FBVIH accepted the initiative and agreed to make exception in this respect.

The new challenge is to make Ministry of Commerce to adopt new law on this particular group which will make their work more easier and legal. STBIH will continue working on this issue
