STBiH recruits civil sector with joint aim

As a part of EU Project Decent Work Balkan Network, STBIH organized Round table in Sarajevo 15 MArch 2012. Entitled as “Mechanisms and tools for promotion of civil society in BIH with the special focuss on trade union movement” this event gathered 52 representatives of trade unions and NGOs. The experience of cooperation between TUs and NGOs in EU country was shared by Mrs. Mari Taivainen, international coordinator of PAM,Finland. The experience of joint work of NGOs and TUs in the region was shared by Mauro MAscioli,Progetto Svillupo from Srebia, a partner organization in the project. Participants agreed on several very important priorites such as the urgent need for making data base on violation of wroker’s rights in particular right to organize,stronger networking between TUS and NGOs etc.
