HK region Midt Norge supports the activities in BIH Solidarity with the efforts of STBIH
HK region Midt Norge held its biannual conference 03-04 June this year in Hell. For this conference Azra Šehbajrakatrević and Mersiha Beširović were invited to present the situation in BIH today, as well as the challenges and activities of the union movement.
Delegates of this conference confirmed their friendship and solidarity with the efforts of trade union representatives in BIH.This region has participated in the solidariity project that Handel og Kontor conducts in BiH since its very beginning.This year their contirbution has been increassed. This region also supported the project activities with the new copy machine that will improve the education and training activities in BIH.
Hk region Midt Norge has 10 000 members and is the oldest local organization in HK.The trade union activties there have begun 1879. On this conference beside many other issues the penssion law was in focus and the delegates stood up for the agreement in placed.
The conference also confirmed the elections of the Executive Comittee and leaders of the region.
In the region Midt Norge there are also 481 citizens of BIh leaving. According to the words of the representative of the Bosnian Society, all Bosnians leaving here are employed and integrated fully in the Norwegian society.
