Seminar held in Sarajevo in October 2006

After expanded two years project period of PAM?S activties in BIH and in Zenica, the Evaluation Seminar was held in Sarajevo 3-4 October 2006.The aim of the seminar was to give the overview of the implemented activties in the project period and how they promoted the general status of CTUBIH.

Besides the representatives of PAM,FInland the seminar gathered also the representtaives of the Secretariat as the highest decission making body of the union.The seminar has been facilitated by HUMAK expert. HUMAK has been the project partner in major training activities arranged during the last project period. The seminar focused on the evaluation of the project activties but more important also on the evaluation of the structures and functions of CTUBIH in today’s trade union movement in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The evaluation itself is quite new phenomenum in BIH and therefore this seminar is extreamlly important training program for the elected ledaers of CTUBIH.It provided the participants by tools and mechanisms for evaluation and once again draw their attention to the neccesity of effective evaluation as one of the main development tools.

The seminar also focused on the planning of the future project and union activities and one of the main conclussion it brought is that solidraity and support that has been offered to CTUBIH by the brothers and sisters in PAM has been extreamlly important during the last years.This solidarity is due to the general economical and social development in the country still very much needed and all the members of the Secretariat expressed their hopes and aspirattions that this effective cooperation would continue in the future too.
