The third Congress of the union was held on 24 September in Sarajevo. The general title of the Congress was “Job+Salary= Life+Dignity” and its main aim was to draw the attention to the globalization effects on the real and everyday life of ordinary commerce workers and their families. The Congress gathered 30 delegates and the big number of foreign and local guests.

The Congress was historical in the respect that CTUBIH is the first trade union in the Southern Eastern Europe or even Europe as such, that gave the executive and one of the two most responsible union position to women- the Vice president has been for the first time introduced and President of Women’s Section will in the future automatically been appointed to this position.

Azra Šehbajraktarevic has been reelected.

The important role has been given to the Youth Section too. Its members had a chance to present their work on the most visible and acceptable way and their representatives have been elected in the several trade union bodies.
Thanks to the support from the Project CTUBIH produce lot of materials for its Congress such as SuGlas, Congress poster, booklet etc.The Congress has been done totally different then the rest of the unions and therefore draw a big media attention. The Congress poster has been shown on the most popular TV program as one of the best information material that has been produce by NGO in 2005.
