HK Region Indre Ostlandt supported joint conference for STBIH

With the support of HK region Ostlandt Sor, STBIH organized its annual conference in Sanski Most, STBIH Region Northwest. The conference was held 17-18 June 2010. and it gathered both old active membership and new just recruited members form this STBIH region.

Focus of the conference was how to overcome the challenges that STBIH members face every day with as well as how to answer on country’s political divission and its negative impacts on union work. This STBIH is very specific and by this really demanding and therefore this conference was particulary important. At the same time it clearly showed that STBIH EXecutive Comittee is prepared to be present there where it is the most needed – on the working places of its members.

The conference gathered 25 participants from different parts of BIH and from both entities.

As a part of this conference STBIH Executive Commmittee held its regular 4th meeting and discussed on several very important issues.

WE hope that with HK Norge’s support this conference will become regular and will be held in all STBIH regions at least once a year.

Herewith we would like to thank HK region Ostlandt Sor for their significant support and solidarity that secured STBIH presence in this very important part of the country. In 2010. this HK region took over the responsibility also for professional organizer and the first result are already visible in the membership development.
