STBIH Youth had many local activities in all the 5 regions during November and December.

STBIH Youth from Sarajevo region published first magazine of STBIH Youth “A Treasury of Young Ideas”. The magazine was promoted on Sunday, November 27 at Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Sarajevo. It is bilingual (B/C/S and English). Some of the topics are youth activism, student activism, problems and perspectives of youth people from Bosnia and Herzegovina and others. STBIH Youth Sarajevo took part in a Diplomatic Winter Bazaar on December 3rd.

Youth camp “re:KREA(K)CIJA 3” was held from 11 – 13. December in Bosanska Gradiška as a traditional project that STBIH Youth from North – West region organize every year. Topic was “Youth and community work” and participants were young people from all over the country. Some of the activities were: voluntary blood donation, donating the books to local library, giving New Year’s presents to children affected by social status and organizing workshop to local volunteers.

STBIH Youth from Herzegovina region organized practical workshop of CV writing and preparing for job interview. Beside that, communication and analytical skills were discussed as well.

STBIH Youth from region Central Bosnia created and published specialized calendar for 2017. The aim is to point on violation of workers’ rights with focus on decent work, the salary right, the right to maternity leave and the right on joining the trade union.

Tuzla region of STBIH Youth implemented project “Refresh the Unionists”. Students from High School of Tourism and High School of Economy and Trade from Tuzla took part in few modules on different topics they need in order to be more competitive on the labor market.

The meeting of coordinators from all the regions was held on November 18. Status changes in the structures and plans for 2017. were discussed.
